The Leadership Education Advancement & Development (LEAD) Program is a selective one-year fellowship designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in clinical psychology. Hosted by the Education & Training Committee, the program empowers early-career psychologists to gain the skills and experience needed to thrive in leadership positions within APA and beyond.
Mission
The mission of the APA Division 12 Society of Clinical Psychology (SCP) LEAD Program is to identify, develop, and prepare early career professionals to assume leadership positions within SCP and their broader professional communities. The SCP Board recognizes the importance of creating pathways into organizational leadership and is committed to cultivating a diverse and talented community of future leaders in clinical psychology.
