Andrea Wieckowski, PhD

Andrea Wieckowski, PhD is an Assistant Research Professor at the AJ Drexel Autism Institute at Drexel University, PA. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech in 2019 and completed an APA-approved clinical internship at Western Psychiatric Hospital and Clinic in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Wieckowski’s research has focused on the utilization of technology in the assessment and treatment of social communication deficits in children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her research focuses on understanding and treating facial emotion recognition and expression deficits in school-age children and adolescents with ASD, through the use of low-cost, transportable technology (i.e., eye tracking, Kinect sensor), with the goal of translating research into clinical treatment strategies.
Jared Boot Haury

Past-President

Jared is a board-certified and licensed clinical psychologist, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and Certified Sex Therapist Supervisor. They are passionate about educating the next generation of psychologists and serve as the president of APA Division 12’s Graduate Students and Early Career Professionals Section. Jared also serves as a certified mentor for individuals seeking certification through the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. In addition to working as an LGBTQ psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Boot-Haury works in private practice, seeing couples and individuals using acceptance and commitment therapy and emotionally focused couples therapy interventions. Dr. Boot-Haury has authored several publications and has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on mental health and health disparities among LGBTQ+ communities and LGBTQ+ cultural competency training best practices. Their research to date has focused on improving mental health care experiences for LGBTQ+ communities and exploring minority stressors within LGBTQ+ populations with emphasis on asexual and transgender individuals; they were awarded the 2023 APA Division 44 Transgender Research Award for their work. Dr. Boot-Haury previously served as the VP of Policy and Government Affairs Committee for GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality, where he focused on translating research into practice through policies and positions that encourage more affirming healthcare practices for health professionals who work with LGBTQ+ people.
Lyudmila Saltman

President-Elect

Lyudmila Saltman, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Miami’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Beyond her academic duties, Dr. Saltman holds the position of Treasurer within Division 12, Section 10 of the American Psychological Association. Her professional journey is marked by a dedication to understanding and treating anxiety and mood disorders. Drawing from her extensive training, which includes completing an APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral training at the University of Miami, she has cultivated a deep understanding of evidence-based practices. She has worked in various clinical settings, including community outpatient clinics, substance abuse treatment centers, and forensic-focused private practice. In both her research and clinical practice, Dr. Saltman prioritizes a multiculturally sensitive approach, recognizing the unique needs and perspectives of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Section Representative

Jill Morris, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist and Owner of Morris Therapy and Consulting, PLLC, a private practice devoted to providing evidence-based therapies for anxiety and trauma related symptoms. She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of South Dakota, her pre-doctoral internship at the Bay Pines VA, and her postdoctoral fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center. Dr. Morris specializes in the treatment of PTSD and anxiety disorders. She has extensive training in trauma-focused interventions as well as both behavioral interventions for anxiety disorders and mindfulness-based approaches. Her primary interests include the prevention and treatment of trauma related disorders, impact of trauma informed care practices across organizations, and employee and healthcare provider burnout and resiliency. Dr. Morris is also a PSYPACT provider and able to provide Telehealth services across multiple states. She has served as a member of several committees dedicated to equity throughout her career. She is currently the Early Career Psychologist (ECP) and Graduate Student Representative on the Board of Directors of the Society of Clinical Psychology (Division 12 and Section 10) of APA. Through this role, she acts as a liaison between the Board of Directors of Division 12 and Section 10 to ensure the unique needs of graduate students and ECPs are addressed.
Melanie Morse Website

Treasurer

Melanie Morse, PhD (she/her/hers), is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and a pediatric psychologist at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She earned her PhD in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina, completed her psychology internship at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As a clinical faculty member at UVA, Dr. Morse provides outpatient consultation and intervention across several pediatric subspecialty clinics, including Pediatric Nephrology, Allergy & Immunology, and Developmental Pediatrics. She also serves as the Director of the Pediatric Psychology Consultation-Liaison Service for UVA Children’s Hospital. In addition, Dr. Morse is the Quality Improvement Liaison for Pediatric Psychology and has a strong interest in advancing quality improvement initiatives within academic medical settings. Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Morse serves as Treasurer for the American Psychological Association Division 12, Section 10 (Graduate Students and Early Career Psychologists), where she is committed to supporting transparent stewardship and initiatives that promote professional development for trainees and early career clinicians.

Jessica Vigil Spirek, MSW (she/her/hers), is a doctoral student in the PsyD program at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University, concentrating in Health Psychology. She earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver, where she concentrated in Organizational Leadership and Policy Practice. Jessica brings a strong foundation in advocacy, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration, along with a commitment to advancing mental health care for all. Her professional interests center around women’s mental health, particularly depression, trauma, and anxiety, with an emphasis on somatic, trauma-informed, feministic, and strengths-based approaches to treatment. She is passionate about contributing to the profession through service, collaboration, and initiatives that promote student engagement, professional development, and greater access to psychological care for all. Jessica is committed to helping people in ways that feel empowering, personalized, and sustainable for long-term growth and overall well-being.

Shaciarra Hamilton

Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (JEDI) Officer

Shaciarra Hamilton, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Illinois. She works at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Counseling Center providing therapeutic, outreach, training, and crisis management services to the university’s students. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana and completed her APA-accredited clinical predoctoral internship and postdoctoral rotation at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in Champaign, Illinois. Dr. Hamilton’s professional emphases both clinically and academically include multiculturalism concerns, relational and cultural issues, identity development, trauma, disordered eating, and body image. Dr. Hamilton is an active member of many outreach efforts across the UIUC campus and believes in the power of connection, community, and collaboration across multiple domains. In Fall 2022, she created and collaboratively executed the inaugural “We are Here Block Party” outreach event for BIPOC Queer students, which was the official kickoff of the local Champaign-Urbana Pride Festival and is now an annual event. Dr. Hamilton is currently the vice president of the Uniting Pride Center of Champaign County and is a co-facilitator for the teen support group. When she is not serving students or the community, Dr. Hamilton enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding horses, collecting a variety of hobbies, and watching cheesy Hallmark movies. In the APA Division 12 Section 10 Board, Dr. Hamilton is the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Officer. In this role, Dr. Hamilton collaboratively develops programming specifically focused on trainees and early career psychologists from underrepresented and historically marginalized communities. Dr. Hamilton works with numerous partners to support the section’s aim of offering various seminars, mentorship opportunities, and resources to its members.

Communications Chair

Emily Murphy, MS is a fifth-year Clinical Psychology PsyD student at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). She is completing her internship year at Southwest Behavioral and Health Services within the school and community-based counseling track. She has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a wide array of presenting problems commonly seen within this population including anxiety, depression, trauma/bereavement, behavioral dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, social skills deficits, self-esteem concerns, eating disorders, and related medical issues. She is particularly interested in working with underserved populations within assessment and therapeutic services and advocating for mental health services for all. She is also highly committed to program and healthcare system analysis, intervention, leadership, and advocacy. She has held numerous leadership positions during her graduate career at NSU, including Project Coordinator for the Simulated Patient Assessment, Research, and Collaboration (SPARC) initiative, President for the College of Psychology Student Government Association, and Graduate Assistant to the Chair of the Clinical and School Psychology Program. Her research interests include assessing doctoral students’ skills in conducting risk assessments, teachers’ secondary traumatic stress within trauma-informed care, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. In her free time, she enjoys working out at CycleBar, reading, and trying new recipes. As communications chair, Emily manages and updates Section 10’s website, Facebook, listserv, and email.
zoe ross nash

Professional Development Chair

Zoe Ross-Nash, PsyD earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University and completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of California, Davis in the Eating Disorder Emphasis. Dr. Ross-Nash is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice and was previously an assistant professor at Ponce Health Sciences University in their PsyD in Clinical Psychology Program. She is the Editor for Electronic Communications for Division 29 from 2023-2029, after serving three years as the associate editor from 2020-2023. She is Division 12’s Professional Development Chair from 2025-2028. Zoe’s clinical interests include trauma, eating disorders, wellness, mentorship, and advocacy. Ross-Nash won the Division 29 Student Excellence in Clinical Practice Award in 2022. Ross-Nash is the founder of Equilibrium Health Advantage, a training program for fitness professionals to become informed on eating disorders and is a co-host of the eating disorder education podcast, “On the Mic with ED.” She is originally from Allendale, New Jersey, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Service Studies and Dance from Elon University. In her spare time, Zoe likes to practice yoga and ballet, read and write poetry, and try new restaurants with her loved ones.

Antoine Lebeaut, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral fellow in the Trauma Recovery and Resilience Innovations program and the Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress at the University of Washington. He completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston and his APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. Dr. Lebeaut specializes in the treatment of PTSD and anxiety disorders, with an emphasis on co-occurring conditions. His research has primarily focused on identifying risk and maintenance factors for PTSD and co-occurring disorders in community adults and first responder populations, as well as on both improving access to and efficacy of evidenced-based treatment for PTSD. Dr. Lebeaut’s research has been presented at local, national, and international conferences, published in several peer-reviewed journals, and has been funded by the American Psychological Association and National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Through his role in APA Division 12/Section 10, he aims to share and enhance access to learning and networking opportunities for early career psychologists and graduate students.
